Eat The Seasons

This artwork is a protest campaign about eating fruit and veg in the right season. It contains a series of posters with collage fruit and veg featured to show which fruit and veg you can and cannot eat during the March season. During the development of this work, we wanted to make actual protest posters out of cardboard in order for them to look like protest material and for them to also be biodegradable. After we soon realised it made it visually hard to see from a distance as we had to factor in people on trains. We then decided collage was a good medium to work with as it allowed us to use a material that otherwise would have gone to waste and it could create interesting visual material to feature in them.
