Room with a Sea View

Edge Hill / Huyton

“Don’t you hate the commute? Swimming to work in your nice uniform? These rising sea levels are a real inconvenience!

I booked my holiday last week. I tried to book a non-sea view room, but since the coastline has flooded it’s all they have available!

I’m so proud of giant corporations, working so collaboratively to change the world.

Well, to change the climate at least. I heard they’re working together to raise the water levels of the Mersey River. Imagine how many more boats we can fit in!”

This work is a series of posters presenting seaside holiday advertisements of a future Liverpool affected by rising sea levels. The posters use found photography and collage to present a vision of our future affected by climate change.
